Babymonster Debut Date Announced By YG Entertainment: It’s Happening On 27 November!

BABYMONSTER DEBUT: BABYMONSTER (베이비몬스터; also known as BAEMON and stylized as BABYMONS7ER) is a new seven-member girl group that will be debuting soon under the YG Entertainment label as confirmed by YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk. The new K-pop girl group will consist of all seven members who were featured in the group’s web show Last Evaluation, namely Rora, Ahyeon, Chiquita, Haram, Ruka, Pharita, and Asa. YG Entertainment registered the trademarks for “BABYMONSTERS” and “BAEMON” on December 12, 2019 and February 18, 2020 respectively.

The hype began with a social media sneak peek that announced the BABYMOSNTER debut, featuring a new logo that adds a touch of mystery to the band’s identity and the words “Coming soon.”

The group is made up of people from all over the world. They come from different countries, like South Korea, Thailand, Japan, etc. Including Ahyeon (from South Korea), Rora (from Japan), Pharita (from Thailand), Chiquita, and Asa.

Originally, the BABYMONSTER debut was going to be with Ahyeon and Ruka, with Chiquita and Haram joining them, and then Pharita and Rora. But Yang said that fans voted for Asa and Rora to join the group, so they ended up being added to the final lineup.

They were supposed to drop BABYMONSTER debut song in November, but it looks like they didn’t have to wait that long. The song is supposed to be a powerful hip-hop tune. A bunch of YG producers and composers worked together in camps to make sure the music was top-notch for their debut.

In the meantime, BabyMonster has a new song called “Dream” that dropped on May 14th, 2023, at 10 pm KST.
